Have you ever let your alter-ego take over?

Not really seeking help, just a little rant. Wanted to see if anyone has the same problem. Sometimes my "alter-ego" can take over sometimes. I can just be a straight-up douche bag to everyone. Making smart statements and things that are just considered plain rude and very cruel.

Most times I can't really control and just let it go, and whats said is said - so most times I don't apologize. Some times I actually like this side.

Then they're other times where I am very nice, and have perfect execution with my conversations. It is like a have multiple masks that I wear. I don't know, must be just all mental. Thanks for reading and happy holidays!

I have many times. I still do it too. Maybe it's just how I am and the need to feel like this at times with people.

Is it a random occurrence? or is it after a long stressful day? I can turn into a real bear after a long day of work or stress filled adventures. I believe we all can

Sadly i'm the same way, i'll be mean as hell to people over small things that 10 minutes later i couldn't give two shits about. I always end up feeling bad about it soon after even if i know i was justified in being an asshole.

I have this exact problem when I'm stressed or I'm nervous I spew stupid/offensive things without realizing it until it's too late.

I don't think it's my alter-ego that makes me this way, I just end up getting stressed when things don't exactly go the way I want it, I seek perfection in everything that happens in my life and if it doesn't go that way I'll take it out on myself or other people and I'll end up being an asshole even when the person didn't deserve it.

    i
This. Fortunately I manage to get control of myself before I say or do anything too incredibly bad, and for a bit it makes me either look stupid or as if I don't give a fuck lol.
