Howdy Sythe,

I'm having a headache here trying to figure out the best way to buy LTC with USD. Before responding, please note that I do NOT want to first purchase BTC and use the BTC to buy LTC. I want to directly use USD to purchase LTC from an exchange or elsewhere.

Btc-e seems like a great place to buy LTC. The problem is, it's so *(@#*(@# hard to get USD into there. I'm hearing more and more nightmare stories about wiring the money to them, and their terms now state that USA people CANNOT wire money to them anymore. I haven't found any reasonable way to get USD into that exchange with the other payment options.

So far the best option I've found is to use Litecoinlocal. But people there charge a premium.

Please share how you have moved USD into reputable exchanges if you live in the USA.

I'd rather not use Sythe. Not that I don't love you all, but I'm sure there are better options.
