    The best RS3 Meele gear

gonna' give it a real go. just wrote it off before so yeah. not up todate with all the new gear, but from what I can see superior tetsu is the best which is hard to get. Torva will suffice

what about boots, gloves, ring etc?

weapons? godswords look viable, i've never did dung so don't have access to any that shit.

    What are you combat stats?

If you have 90+ attack, Drygores would be your best bet.

    Gloves: Goliath?
    Boots: Torva Boots

Torva would probably be your best bet. But due to my cash stack, I have never been able to test it out.

I've literally never tried EoC with gear and quite fancy it. i've managed to make 60m 07 staking so have enough cash to go crazy cray.

sorry for being vague, my stats are 99/99/82 with 70 pray.

how do you get goliath? are barrows gloves shit now?
    are steadfast not the best?
    what ring, still zerker?

I seen drygore maces are pretty hyped, whats better them or the swords? from what i've read 2H are the way to go now, am I wrong? the dual drygore shit looks sweet though, does it do more dps than anything?

Steadfast are 85 req boots, Tetsu is the best melee defensive gear. As for your rings question, you can compare onyx (i) and zerker (i) and figure out which one you like better.

dual drygore rapiers RAPE, or longswords, whatever you prefer/intend on fighting.
I personally cbf with torva and all that super hard to get superior armour, so I just stick with standard bandos/barrows. with 99 defence, summoning and abilities, you don't need much better armour when just training... can't speak for bossing though

I've never tried high level 90+ gear, because I can never afford it. Ohwell.

I'd recommend getting drygores with steadfast boots, and zerker (i) rings. If you want to spend money for armour, get torva. If you want to earn your armour through PoP, work on Superior Tetsu. It'll take a while though.

Get full Torva(Gloves, boots, Helm, Platebody and Platelegs). Saradomins Whisper amulet. The best ring for melee ring is warrior (i). It has 3 % Crit bonus.

The regular warrior ring has 2.7% Crit bonus. Would advice you to just use warrior ring, getting it imbued takes a while so you should just wear the regular one. You could also use Sixth-Age circuit ring if you have done The World Wakes quest.

Use main hand Drygore Mace + Offhand Drygore Longsword or Rapier.

Tetsu armour is pretty bad seeing how it gives no offense bonus. Use Torva. Tetsu got great defence stats but having a lot of defence is pretty uselss in EOC when it comes to PvM. It's all about damage bonus.

You should get 95 Prayer for turmoil and use overloads while training combat.

gone for full torva/fury/zerk ring and dual gore rapiers (simply because chaotic rapiers were awesome looking but I hated dung so never got them)

whats the deal with monsters being weak to some types of attack now? seen people post 'use mace if fighting bla bla'

Switch the fury with Saradomin's Whisper and Zerk ring with warriors ring. You also want a main hand Drygore mace because it got a nice prayer bonus.

Monsters are weak to different melee, magic or range attack styles. Within melee, you have 3 styles: Crush, stab and slash. Mace=Crush, rapier = stab and longsword = slash. Drygores in general are so powerful so it does not make a huge different.

You should always use combat boosting prayer and the Drygore Main hand mace is a good pick because of the prayer bonus it got.

Wearing Torva gloves adds damage when using melee. Goliath gloves does not have offense stats at all. They got a useless passive ability that can reflect some range damage.

RS3 melee is all about offense gear. Using gear that boosts your damage output.
