Yesterday morning it was lovely and calm, like a normal day. Then about dinner chaos happened.

So, was anyone else in the UK affected? We didn't get power until late last night.

90mph winds in the morning, must've headed down south for you in the afternoon.

It happens every year I don't see why people get caught off guard :p

Well where I am, we've not had any winds that speed since the 90's, we never get that shit.

I think it has to be related to the Monsoon season, at where I am living in we don't usually get cold weather / winds etc., but come late November / early December, we keep getting cold weather almost everyday. It's a welcoming relief for my country.

And DAYUM, I feel bad for the owner of the car =|

Yeah, it's pretty bad up scotland, I know someone from wick and he says it's hellish up there. We're like in the middle of the country and exactly 1000ft above sea level, that might factor why we never get extreme weather.

Ooooo haha, one of our van drivers got held up with deliveries because a tree fell on a car lol. All around hull is bad.

We live 1 village from Sutton bridge and there is a connecting river into the wash. It was like 1ft from breaking the sea defence lol, and everything is down hill from then on haha (the whole village flooded ages ago that's why raised the defence).

Shit, that's crazy. I don't have major problems with flooding as we're exactly 1000 feet above sea level.

Manchester was pretty unaffected bar some strong(ish) winds, my parents over in Lincolnshire felt it though, some villages near my parents town were knee deep in water.
