Is it possible to connect to a vnc viewer on Ipad Mini?

Are there apps for the mini to connect to a vnc viewer like chicken of the vnc on mac to connect to a vps or dedicated server? If it is possible, how is it like when connected? Is there more delay/lag when connecting through an ipad mini then when connecting through a mac computer?

There are multiple apps that will allow you to do this. Some are free and some you have to pay for. As for the "lag" there shouldn't be an issue. It doesn't take too much power to play a video/view multiple images.

 

Know any apps that would for sure work? Remember this is the mini, not the regular ipad.

 

What sort of things are you looking to do?

Basically the only reason I am thinking about getting it is to connect to my servers in class to maintain my bots. To do that, I would need to connect through a vnc viewer. On my macbook pro the vnc viewer I use is called Chicken of the VNC. I assume if it will work on the old ipad mini it will work on the new one. Thanks for the help

 

Woops, didn't see the mac 'requirement'. I own pc's only myself, but I doubt it would be any different because vnc basically works cross-platform usually.
I'll try setting up a vnc thingy later tonight, the ipad is at my girlfriends'.

I am 100% sure RealVNC works. I think it costs around $10. I would suggest paying for the premium app so you could always depend on it.

If you have wi-fi or a phone that you can use to use as a modem you should be good.
