On an off topic note, approximately what MMR matches with what league?

 

How are you getting that screen? Also 1200 is Silver 5, don't remember the others

 

this was the elo point system before this league method:

■Bronze: Between 1249 and 1399 (3v3: 1249-1409, pre-made 5v5: 1249-1409) (Top 25%)
■Silver: Between 1400 and 1519 (3v3: 1410-1489, pre-made 5v5: 1410-1499) (Top 10%)
■Gold: Between 1520 and 1899 (3v3: 1490-1699, pre-made 5v5: 1500-1749) (Top 3%)
■Platinum: 1900 and above (3v3: 1700+, pre-made 5v5: 1750+) (Top 0.2%)

And, op.gg isn't too accurate, as it goes by your recent matches. (you could be 250/150, but be on a 9 loss streak and have an extremely shitty MMR on op.gg, but in solo queue it may be much higher)

 

worst part about being in plat 1 is you can never tell if the Diamonds are trolls, boosted, or are legit trying to get their MMR up.

Jesus I've had some pretty bad kids matched up with me from higher elos but that's a bit excessive

 

It says at 1492 i should be higher than silver 1, but Shining's list shows it's right near the top end of silver. I guess Riot has made the splits a bit lower when they added Diamond. I'm consistently matched with Gold IV through Gold II right now, so I'm thinking 1500 is around Gold III ish.


By the way i was 2nd pick in that match. The first pick wasn't in the picture but he was Gold I, and he seemed to belong as first pick in that team of people. The other 3 guys had some pretty awkward mechanics and positioning throughout the whole game.
