How did you get 94 mage?

Just wanted to get some input on how you guys got to 94+ mage...

I know most popular is high alching but i'm sure there are much faster methods (Money isn't an issue)

Right now im looking at bursting at ape atoll skeletons or superheating.

 

alch + fire waves at metal drags, u gotta time it right tho

 

Uhm, i forgot to mention a botting method would be preferred >_<

 

ill just go with alching then, easiest and most simple

 

If you have enough cash just super-heat gold. You'll also get a massive amount of Smithing XP.

Really the 3 ways that won't break the bank completely and are bottable (at least the first two )

 

Alched yew longs from 54 all i can remember to 99 from 1 - 54 haven't got a clue

 

I would say superheat if you're looking to bot.

Just means you get some nice smithing XP too.

 

As above, I'd always say superheating if it's a choice between that or alching - mainly because you get exp in two skills (and smithing is always a nice skill to get to a high level without training it directly).

Assuming money isn't an issue, you could go with bursting which would probably be quicker (but I couldn't say for sure if botting it how good it'd be). There are bots for chinning these days so I'm sure it would be possible to either find a bot for bursting or hire someone to write one. It is a money sinkhole though, so strongly consider superheating.

You're likely to lose money in the long run with superheat but it's definitely a good choice. Gold with gaunts for best smithing exp or I think maybe iron for best chance to break even. When I've done it in the past with iron I've run a few bots making iron knives while superheating, and at the time it was actually profitable, although not sure whether it still is.

 

I dunno if they nerfed it but Nightmare Zone worked wonders and you profit.

Stun Alching is pretty good and probably bottable.

 

i've got 94 from simply superheating

 

I fletched all my yew longs and alched them with auto clicker, fletching was quick and easy to 99 and mage was easy over night.

 

A lot of people stun-alch at the wilderness border, but I'd personally just go bot the shit out of alching at pest control, or if you're playing legit, I'd go mining and superheat.

 

To be honest, I think alching would likely be the quickest and easiest way to 94 or 99.

 

If RiD works for it, sure. That would give some decent profit for the exp you are getting.
