Clean Exports & Save Options

I'm wondering how I can get a clean image... What Ive tried is exporting my 3D Text from C4D as a PNG and adding a shine in photoshop.

Saving in Photoshop as a PNG makes the image clean, but doesnt support the animation I want (the shine).

This is what Ive been able to do...


Preview details when saving for web:
Format: GIF
Dimensions: 661w x 132h
Size: 94.73K
Settings: Selective, 128 Colors, 88% Diffusion Dither, 35 frames, Transparency on, No Transparency Dither, Non-Interlaced, 0% Web Snap


But obviously there is still white around the edges, does anyone know how I can fix this quick?

tldr: how do I remove this white shi* around the edges?

Not sure why you have those white outlines. Have you tried feathering?

 

Here's what I get when I feather it. (ctrl+click on layer to select image, feather 2px, select inverse, delete) Mind you, Ive never had much success feathering, so if you do something different, let me know.

I imagine there's a way to make it clean when saving it for web but I just cant find it.

 

.gif dont like transparency/ gradients. so just put the sythe blue in the background.

 

I was hoping to avoid doing that, but I managed to scare this up. I think ill edit it before I use it though.

Well, if you don't want to make the bg blue like sythe. you can always change the matte colour to sythes colour. That should fix it
