My two cents on the state of Sythe.org

Old post, but I just wanted to clear something up. I have always, and will continue to care about my position on Sythe. The reason I wasn't as active during my last tenure on staff was because of school. Knowing I could not sustain a high level of moderation, I resigned. Not to sound cocky or anything, but every other time I was on staff, I was extremely active. Never am I going to commit to Sythe when I have other priorities. However, during the Summer or something, when I do not have said priorities, I can give Sythe my whole effort. I wasn't "inactive" because I got bored with Sythe, or didn't care, it's because school just took up so much of my time.

 

Advertising always works if you know HOW to advertise. If you have spent thousands and this had no effect, then get a specialist to do the job instead and you will see a drastic change.

Also people who bring new members could also get some kind of prizes, maybe cash or real items.

Moreover, you should engage with your members by having live streams or something like that. This way members would be more involved and Sythe would be more known.

 

I'd like to see the LoL market get more attention, as well as the Steam market, as they are both going to be upcoming factors in the future. If the RL market could also get a good start then maybe it could become more popular for trades of items that aren't virtual.

 

Need to stop shooting down good suggestions like the one for a good mobile site.
