    This has just got the show massive attention around the world with people kicking a fuss up over it. Betting that during the series Stewie will fix the time machine and save Brian/bring him back or clone him in some way.

    Doubt he will be killed off for good, the publicity is good for them and they can see how everyone wants him back.


    EDIT: I know Stewie had just disassembled the time machine so couldn't save him, but still recon he will rebuild it or something at the end of the series or something.

    He's a main writer and a huge voice actor not to mention the creator of the show. He probably got tired of writing and voicing that character so he's taking a break from him. Can't see marketing ploy he has so many successful episodes and shows that doesn't make sense. Same goes for desperation.
