Safe ways to bot - some tips + add your own!

Just some input from personal experience!
I'm not sure about you, but I bot for simply conservation of time - I have no time to sit around grinding! - esp at higher levels - it becomes too time consuming.

Thankfully I've only lost ONE account from botting on 07 -(76 ranged 1 def - RIP) but also will never forget losing my original acc which is now eoc - banned for another 10 years RIP 90 hunter - dclaws - ancients - the days


ANYWAY here's what I've discovered

-Bot for LOW exp gain
Man, if you're gonna go to experiments and aim to get 40-45k exp per hour - that's great for training by hand - bot there and you're almost asking to get the ban hammer
Know your hot spots and AVOID them

-TAKE BREAKS
I cannot stress this enough - don't get greedy with your botting - realistically would any human sit at a computer playing runescape for over 10+ hours?

-Clan chat
I've read that clan chat participation keeps you under the radar - even if you're simply joined onto the chat

-Babysit
Unless you're running gold farms and not giving 2 damns about getting banned - baby sit your baby.

- Use older accounts (i.e. creation date)
- I usually bot (without babysitting) and then play on mine legit for 2 hours or so, rather then baby sitting the entire time.

 

I don't see why 40-45 xp per house is bound to get you banned? That's some low ass xp.

 

Babysitting is the most important key you've listed and best way to help not getting banned. You can stay in conversations, add your own input occasionally, etc.

Ofc, there will never be a 100% way around bans- that's the best method unfortunately nowadays.

if people are going to be botting. they should be merely following this. if not. they do not stand a chance.

as for time, when i was a bit more "involved" in this game and no life. i spent a good 15 hours sometimes playing. then i would have my little brother play when i wasent playing, that went on for months.

either way, with my account being online for over 20 hrs a day and no bans

i dont think it has anything to do with acceptable amount of time online, more or less. acceptable amount of botting

i guarantee jagex has no problem detecting bots, in all reality, we pay for more membership then legit players. so they wont get rid of "Everyone"

jagex is more worried about gold farming, so if you are suspectable to be doing so. expect a ban.

if you get banned for botting, take note of the skill, where. and the time it happend. try and find a trend guys. work smart not hard.
