Secret from Parents

Is there something in your life that you would never tell your parents about yourself or your life?

For me I can't really think of anything that I wouldn't tell my mother. My mother and I have had a good relationship through my life and I'd have no problem telling her anything.

 

Pretty much everything. Iv never been the type to open up with my parents as its usually used against me at a later date. Id rather kick them in the face. As it is i rarely speak to them. When i move out i don't think ill have any contact with them.

 

I tell my mom pretty much everything, we are close enough to do so. Since my parents are divorced I don't tell my dad much.

 

My mum and dad pretty much know majority of things about me. I feel very special considering the relationship I have with them.

Honestly the only thing I could hide from my parents is very personal level things like an STD or something.

 

sex-before-marriage, getting a girl pregnant (try to settle this myself first) & nightlife. everything else is pretty okay to tell

I was addicted to drugs from age 16-21 or so and did some devious and deceitful shit then but its all out in the open now. After I moved out my dad pretty much knew everything. What he didnt know i just came clean on, felt good getting things out in the open.

 

Man, you should treasure any time with your parents. Trust me, it's awful when they're gone and you regret every little thing.

I was young when I was fostered, almost 13, so there was nothing to keep from my real parents.

I try not to lie, the initial shit you take for anything is always better and shorter at the time than months or years later when it's boiled up in to something worse. I lied to them about small things like going to college when I wasn't and school exam results but nothing too bad xD

 

My parents have known about my drug use since I was 14 or so, but they don't know the extent of it. They don't know I was shooting heroin, meth, coke, etc. They also don't know I was selling drugs, guns, and shit, and out robbing people. I would never tell them that either. I've cleaned up and gotten my life together, so there is no reason to tell them.

Managed to sell pounds of weed and rob a whole bunch of kids in our town for 2 and a half years. Just recently they found out everything when they caught me off guard and got in my phone.

Sent my ass to rehab... At first I had that whole fuck parents can't wait to be 18 motto. Then I realized how much they do for me and since then, like Roary touched on, I've done my best to be honest and cherish my time with em'. You never know when you're gonna need them and also the point about initial shit being much easier to get through is so true. I don't lie about anything anymore.

Sounds like your a mommas boy. Jk bro lol. I love my mom and i would do anything for her. She is great, and if it wasnt for her i would probably be in jail or worse. I tell her what she can handle to hear lol.

 

You tell her what she can handle but you could be in jail if not because of her? Sounds like you are involved in some serious stuff.
