I know a lot of people hate this style, but I was focused on my lighting in this one!

Depth needs to be fixed and the rest looks LQ.

 

Your lighting is forced too much. You're using light sources in the background when clearly the focal is front lit.

 

How is the focal front lit? The whole front of his face is shadow, the light is either coming from behind or from the sides.. which is where my lighting was placed...

Nero has way more experience then you, like way more. I think he knows what he's talking about.

And yeah, I do agree with him, the lighting is way too strong, it's like you put him in a room with lights on all sides of him.

 

Doesn't matter, i respect nero and i know he's great at providing cnc. However this doesn't mean he's right all the time.

What i feel is wrong is you made your lightsources bend and spread out too much, should've kept the shadow on his face way more visible. As said by Bglave the c4ds are LQ and the saturation is a bit low for my liking. Your lights come from the back, not the sides. Therefore they shouldn't hit the side of his face as much as they do, light doesn't bend like that in air. Slight light leaking is enough in that case. Anyhow decent piece, KIU
