    Quick question about c4d.

How can i maintain good lighting when rendering out my text with a transparent background? Or is that not possible.

Also, any resources for materials? or should i just explore my own.

    Cheers,
    Smoke

As Blaka said, there are many lightrooms and materials on youtube. Rated has a nice lightroom with materials already in it.

If you want to make your own one, generally better lighting means simply having more lights on a low intensity. Think about it in real life terms: there is the sun. There are also lights and also some light is reflected from pretty much everything. More is definitely better in most cases.

I found some awesome mats on google thanks! As for light rooms, is there a way to maintain the lighting is what i'm asking. When i render a image out i lose my lighting since i have to have alpha channel on for a transparent background.

If you use your lights correctly, it should be a problem with alpha channel, unless you're using an actual room with floor and walls. What's your setup like?s

i would suggest to not get a light room and make your own lightroom. if you use a downloaded lightroom all your stuff will look the same. just use 3 point lighting and you will be fine.
