can I successfully kill black/metal dragons at this lvl

with 75 range I'm curious if it will be worth while and what would be the best setup without spending tons of cash

 

not worth the time. Even at 99 range it is slow.

 

You could try for some of the lower level metal dragons (iron for instance)

From memory a decent but cheap setup (for pures) would be:

Gear -

R cbow, anti-dragon shield, power ammy, black dhide chaps and vambs, leather body boots and coif, avas, ring of life (up to you).

Inv - (You'd have to find out the best potion ratio for yourself)

Antifire potions ( a must), Ranging potions (you'll need them at your level), prayer potions, anti-poison potions (depending where you go), food, a teleport, + any items you may need to get there.

Quickly some advice incase he checks back, metal dragons are only worth doing if they're your slayer task, as they are really slow and a real pain in the ass with keeping stocked up on antifires and making sure that your bonuses are high enough to be effective etc.

 

To answer your question, yes, you can successfully kill metal dragons. But would it be worth it? I don't believe so.
