Just some input,

If you haven't got enough money or can't afford a VPS you can use Simple-proxy which is just a website which uses a proxy IP.

I think you mean VPN lol. VPS and VPN's are different things.

Proxy sites compare to VPN's, VPS' are essentially different machines.

 

I really don't think just using a VPN is enough. There are more "addresses" than just an ip, and a VPN only masks the ip. There are also various other identifiers that Jagex probably use: peripherals, installed fonts, operating system, browser, addons, etc. etc. I don't know if Jagex collects any of this information, but they certainly might and it wouldn't be very difficult since RuneScape uses Java. It would be wise to use various different VMs with different VPNs (of course all properly set up). Cost should never be an issue with this. VMs are free if you use free operating systems like Linux, and VPNs are dirt cheap.

Unless you have a horrible computer, buying a VPS is pointless and a waste of money. Just do what you need to do with a VM running with a VPN on your own computer. You can, of course, run as many VMs and VPNs as you want on a single computer as long as you have good enough hardware.

I'm pretty confident that only using a VPN provides almost no protection. Besides, most VPNs are configured incorrectly and still leak your normal DNS and IP. It's really REALLY important to know what you're doing when you set all this stuff up.

 

Yes, I also believe this. When you run Java jagex can see a lot more than just your IP address.

 

I would also advise against tampering with the Jagex files. That is abnormal behavior for the typical RS user, and I am certain Jagex is able to notice this sort of behavior. Instead, just make new accounts on new VMs with different VPNs. Level the accounts a bit, let them sit, be a little active on them. It doesn't take much time or effort. Creating all the machines is easy. Just create a "template" VM that you can clone. Just make sure that you DO NOT visit RuneScape on the template VM!

 

Clear point. We've a few stakers selling us GP for more then a year now. These guys are very active in rs and have lots of GP comming in and out their account. However none of them got banned / wiped yet.

I really appreciate these tricks that you've shared with us.

Do you have an idea for a trick for when you need to transfer gold from one account of yours to another on the same computer at the same time on 07? There's no GE to junk trade so that's why I ask.

 

You can either multi log with a botclient such as Tribot or just drop trade the wealth over. If it's no more then 50M you shouldn't be scared of a ban. 07 ban rates are way lower since they don't have their new trade analysis implanted here.
