Flag known IP with TWC

Many banned people return to Sythe to try to scam others. The not-so-aware or gullible would fall into their trap and end up losing a lot of $ & confidence on Sythe. Ban evaders like http://www.sythe.org/report-ban-evader/1649525-facklowlevel.html get caught by Yousuckv2, but he is only 1 person against endless waves of vaders. Suggesting that anyone who creates an account under a flagged IP must prove that he/she isnt using a proxy/VPN, otherwise TWC sticks. That way, any member who is cautious will ask a mod to check why that person has TWC before trading with them.

 

as far as i know your ip is banned if you get banned. the problem isn't with proxies as much as people changing their ips

 

They don't get TWC's, they get bans already

 

Fcklowlevel created many accounts. After one gets banned he just creates another & tries his luck to scam using the same IP. After Fack gets banned surely he will creates another account & repeat the process. Each new account starts fresh, no warning about his pasts. If he uses vpns and gets banned there too then that ip also becomes flagged. Why should any persons use a vpn? Sythe doesnt impose country-restrictions surely?

They do.

But Patriarch is highlighting the potential threat of a Newcomer who has the intentions to scam. The problem is, IP's can be changed and manipulated very easily. This threat is one that is kept under as much control as possible, for years it's been a long-standing battle - but what else can we do?

 

It's impossible to keep on top of this, there is always a way to ban evade. However, what we can do is catch them and keep banning them.

 

We are doing all we can, its impossible to stop it totally.
