Help anyone?

I'm trying to play 07, but while it's loading it freezes at "loaded update list". And when I click away to a different tab and come back, it's just a blank black screen. Can anyone help?

 

clear you browser cache or reinstall java see if that works

 

What internet browser are you using? Try all the ones you have installed as RS07 occasionally didn't work for me, on certain browsers, over the years. Alternatively, make a topic here or check this section as someone else is probably facing the same problem.

It's probably the cache,

If java was the problem you would just get a white box.

 

Open new text document
copy this and replace 'Marcin' with your username on your PC
rmdir /s /q "C:\users\Marcin\jagexcache"
rmdir /s /q "C:\Users\Marcin\AppData\Local\Mozilla"
rmdir /s /q "C:\Users\Marcin\AppData\LocalLow\Sun"
del "C:\Users\Marcin\jagex_cl_runescape_LIVE.dat"
del "C:\Users\Marcin\random.dat"
del "C:\Users\Marcin\jagex_cl_oldshool_LIVE.dat"

then click file -> save as -> filename.BAT (select all files, not text files)

If that wont work reinstall your Java

it'll remove 07 and rs3 cache, I believe it can fix your problem

 

Ye you can do that to remove the cache or just go to

Start

(Your computer name)

And delete the jagex cache folders

 

It used to do this to me whenever I tried to play it on the webclient, and it still does. What I do is downloaded the normal RS client, then modified it using an internet guide to make it run OSRS instead of RS3, it's working perfectly ever since.

 

I would try downloading the orion client and seeing if that works. Personally, I dont play runescape anywhere else rather than using the orion client
