I don't play ad carries but I attack/move

 

I generally right click move.

 

Whats 'a' clicking? I rightclick/move. My 'A' key is set to Lock/unlock cam

 

I generally a or x click. Unless im farming minions in which case i get lazy and just click/move.

 

I usually "A" click to see my attack range and to keep my APM up (it helps me to stop being lazy with my figures) unless I'm kiting or in a action tense moment. If I'm feeling really lazy or the game is going my way, I just autoclick.

 

A clicking makes it much easier for me

 

I use the right click to move, side mouse button to attack move.

A is the default command for attack-move.

"A clicking" is attack-move clicking. It's good for ADCs kiting people. You move with the right mouse button, and then keep moving but when an AA is back up you press A and left click to attack move. Then you quickly right-click move again to where you were. You don't have to move your cursor from where you were originally trying to kite them.

 

A clicking, it might be hard to get used to for some people but it's very useful. If you right click only, you have a pretty good chance of misclicking and walking back into the enemy while fighting. Anyone looking to gt better mechanics should pick up the "A click" method, or whichever button you have it assigned to.

Also take a look at this play by aphromoo, very nice mechanics with attack move.

 

I still right click, but I can see why A eventually leads to a higher skill level that right click doesn't. I rarely play ADC so I doubt I'll ever change.

Something I see when I watch pro streamers is they autoattack a minion to last hit it without actually clicking the minion. How do they do that? Whenever I a-click, I end up attacking the nearest minion.

BTW if you jungle, A-clcking is really nice to kite away minions from their spawn, say by kiting blue into the brush or to kite away as you walk towards the next camp.

Different Key binds I'd assume.

 

They put their champ on "AutoAttack" and simply attack the nearest minon. When you get better, you simply know when your auto attack will kill the minon. Same concept in dota/hon.

I'm always too lazy to use 'A'.

Though most of the time when I'm playing adc and I'm kiting, I'd be using the 'A'/move.

 

Where is 'A' on my keyboard?

 

What sort of keyboard do you have? Regardless, you can bind it to any key. "A" is just the default on English keyboards.

OT, as an AD main in Diamond+, I orbwalk/A-click almost constantly. This is mostly because of its benefits and partially because my mouse is horrible and inconsistent, so I have to trackpad A-click sometimes..
