Next Gen Consoles: Exclusive games the only difference?

It's a real shame because it's not even a performance issue, it's seems to possibly be either A: An inherent design flaw in the HDMI output or B: Broken as a result of faulty shipping (amazon shoppers seem to be having a huge problem with this, which worries me because my XB1 order is with Amazon).

If it does turn out to be an inherent design flaw...Sony's in some deep shit. I hope for their sake it's not, even though I am an Xbox supporter I feel terrible for people that were excited and secured a PS4 only for it not to be working. I feel awful for those people, and hope they get it rectified.

 

Yeah it's effectively a kick in the balls. They're pumped for the new console and have been waiting for ages, have forked out a considerable amount of money for it, only for it to be broken and they will have to wait quite some time to have it fixed considering the massive amount of demand for PS4s currently. I bet microsoft is laughing their way to the bank on this one, this has probably helped them recoup their some of their image following the DRM fiasco.

 

They recovered from the DRM thing a long time ago. That and people just forgot about it.

 

Well yeh, they recovered from it as majority of people learned not to hold a grudge against microsoft. Even still, there were a few that couldn't let it go. This can only help microsoft (assuming xbox one isn't a disaster like this too)
