Next Gen Consoles: Exclusive games the only difference?

Now that it's coming down to the wire it seems that the only major difference between the consoles is the exclusive games they have. From what I've seen PS4 has more exclusives but Xbox One has better exclusives.

Here are a few exclusives that are really making me consider an xbox one over a ps4:
Ryse
Dead Rising 3
Sunset Overdrive
Project Spark

Out of all of them Project Spark is the one that I want the most and that is also being released on xbox 360 so I don't know.

What is your opinion on the exclusives, etc?

 

The ps4 will be a tiny bit cheaper,Tbh i probably wont get any because i dont game anymore really,But if i did,Itd be xbox one because i prefer the online layout for it (My opinion is based ps3 & xbox 360 layout though) and i already have a xbox account which im sure is migrated to the next console.
For my gaming needs,Im sure my laptop can do since the only games i play not is warcraft and minecraft which i only play maybe 4 hours of a week.

I already have a TV box with channels at home so no need to even consider the xbox one. PS4 because it's a gamers console and Sony did their homework properly.

 

Only reason I might get Xbox One would be to play Ryse, game looks so badass, but I am biased since I've owned an Xbox since the first generation :S

 

Dude the multi-tasking and entertainment part of xbox is a bonus, it still does everything the PS4 does as well.

All in all you are basically saying "I'd rather take the PS4 because it does less". U wot m8?! That's a pretty shit reason to purchase a console. Yes microsoft originally made the dick move with the DRM nazi act but that's in the past. Learn to move on.

Please look at the exclusive games each console offers and then make a judgement.

On Topic:

Xbox One seems to have better launch titles but for me personally I prefer PS exclusives mainly Gran Turismo 7 when it launches since that is the type of game I enjoy playing and everyone has different taste. I will be getting PS4 but next year. One thing that would've made me get the Xbox One would be the ability to run all apps from the Windows 8 store.

I've heard that Forza 5 is looking amazing and has won lots of e3 awards (not a fan of those realistic driving games because I'm shit at them lol) but that's something to look at

Nope, you're a fool if you think Xbox seriously removed the DRM policies for the fans. They removed it because they realised they would lose A LOT of money. I don't care about 2/3 exclusives if the company itself doesn't care about me. There is a reason even the diehard Xbox fans are going for the PS4. I'm also paying less money for the better quality console.

 

I'm going for the Xbox One. At the end of the day 100$ is something I can make very quickly, so the difference isn't that bothersome to me. I like the exclusive list for Xbox One, I like the layout of Xbox live, and I just feel comfortable backing MS as I have for years since the original xbox.

However, I frankly think all the new gen consoles are overrated and I could easily get by with just my 360 if I had to for the next 5 years.

 

Yea Forza is an arcade game, physics are not realistic, I have setup with racing wheel etc and have both games and Gran Turismo physics are way better.

For launch exclusives Xbox wins since most PS4 launch title got delayed, but PS4 will catch up with exclusives eventually, they got good series such as Uncharted, God of Wars, Infamous, Little Big Planet, etc. I think Xbox has better shooters games, such as Halo and Gears of Wars vs Killzone and Resistance which are not bad but PS4 has better adventure games, Uncharted, Last of us, nothing like that on Xbox.

 

I never said they removed it for the fans. Of course they did it for the money, what business wouldn't? No company legitimately gives two shits about their customers, they are in business to maximize profits.

Yeah I'm not in any rush to buy one but I'm still trying to gauge for when I do, which to go with. Friends seem set on xbox one and I will admit I'm tempted...

Ah okay. Yeah I have to admit Infamous was pretty cool and so was uncharted but when the supernatural enemies appeared I was just like "wat" and literally stopped playing the game after that having died once lol.

Last of us is one game that'll suck to miss but I guess that's the trade off. I wish Fable was still continued, that was a pretty successful game for the xbox.

Busta, have you heard of project spark? It's a game where you can basically make anything you want in terms of an adventure game. You should check it out man, it's one of the major influences for me in terms of microsoft > sony. (it's on 360, one and pc so you could still get it)

 

I buy a game console to play games. Not to watch TV because I can already do that. PS4 has better specs which is something I value more than 1 exclusive game that I wouldn't personally ever play.

PS4 is better quality and at a cheaper price. People have to play cod ghosts at 720p on Xbox while PS4 users can enjoy 1080p. The only thing Xbox One beats PS4 is with it's multimedia features and I have other things to cover these features which could do the same thing but give a better experience.

 

Comparatively their specs are pretty much the same

Well obviously there is some degree of caring for their customers but it is only to maximize profit.

Your basically trying to justify every single flaw. I'm not even saying the Xbox One is shit or anything like that. But that's great isn't it forcing your customers to buy the kinect with the console even if they never plan on using it.

I'm getting a ps4 in 6 months to a year. Depends when MGS 5 is coming out, Whenever that game comes out im getting my ps4. Also i always preferred sony games. A new Uncharted was just announced and it seems mgs5 is coming to ps4 first as the new 12min official game play says coming for "ps3 and ps4" at the end. I didn't see le xbox1 logo.

 

I might cancel my Xbox One Launch Day edition seeing as how many people have gotten PS4's that were dead on arrival.


So many launch day gaffes I may be better off waiting a yr for Xbox One.

I don't know about you but I actually prefer human v human rather than supernatural crap, not sure why.

Following this I googled it, that's some crazy stuff. Looks like it may be Sony's turn for technology failure. Wonder if microsoft will have the same problems, I can imagine they'd want to avoid it considering the xbox 360 conundrum.
