Calling people out to be vaders or scammers

Hi,

I'm "i can train". I've only been on Sythe for about a week or so and I've been called a vader quite a few times and people have told me that I will 100% scam. These people are people that don't know me and most likely never will.

The reason I've only just made an account on Sythe is because when I used to hear about Sythe it was with stories of people getting scammed on here, I didn't hear anything good about Sythe, although as I'm older now I'd like to say that I'm more mature and I wouldn't get scammed as easily as I would when I was younger.

The purpose of this thread is just to point out that the community doesn't help itself, by calling people out to be vaders and scammers you aren't exactly making the newcomers welcome to Sythe. Instead of calling people out to be a vader or a scammer please atleast wait for them to actually do something wrong before accusing.

 

So what are you suggesting?

Naming and shaming shouldn't be allowed out of spam forum.

 

But it isn't exactly naming and shaming is it? You have no proof that anyone is a vader till they do something wrong or their IP matches another account... ect

 

i think hes referring to spam forum in particular, lol

 

I'm talking about the whole of Sythe. I've noticed it a lot on the spam forums but I'm not trying to target a certain group of people by any means. I just feel as though the community don't welcome newcomers. :/

 

I agree with this "by calling people out to be vaders and scammers you aren't exactly making the newcomers welcome to Sythe". This is similar to the rule that you cant accuse someone of scamming without proof of it.

Thing is people who say that either joke or are just trolls. Making threads like these wont help you as some may think you're getting paranoid which you don't need to if you aren't vading. I don't think you are anyway.

Once you get the hang of the Sythe community you will realise these sort of things are normal tbh. Don't worry about it

Don't post in the spam forum if you want to be taken serious. Nobody will call you vader outside of the spam forum without proof.

If people keep calling you vader oudside of the spam forum then report the post or pm.

 

The spam forums seem like a funny place to be though, but when I post I just get piled with comments about being a vader -.-

EDIT: Which I expect is because I'm new.

 

Get more experience around site before venturing into the spam forum. Sand box might be a good place to start as you're less likely to be called a vader in there. Takes time to prove yourself although making threads like this doesn't help your case.

 

It's the spam forum. If you can't take the heat, then get out of the kitchen.

 

It will pass eventually. It directly stems from the fact that you are a newcomer that entered the spam forum and pretty much EVERYONE that has done that has been a vader before. Also your topic about donation = trust helped shift the public's opinion.

If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. Pretty much there is freedom of speech in the spam forum and this is a stupid thing to suggest. Obviously if you are called a vader/scammer outside of the spam forum the user would be infracted for spam.

To solve your problem stop feeding the trolls. We all want a reaction in the spam forum so we can get a laugh out of it and if you reply with indifference then the bandwagon phase will pass and we'll find someone new to harass.

can you link me to any posts that can prove this, because i highly doubt anyone's said anything to you outside the spam forum


I haven't seen anything like this outside the spam forum, besides yousuckv2 calling people out that they're a vader, after he already created the thread to get them banned

 

Like I said, I'm not here to target anyone individually. I just want to suggest that it doesn't happen, although I didn't know of the rules in the Spam Forums until after I posted this.

 

if it happens outside SF/DL it usually gets deleted anyways

 

The only place i've seen anyone call you a vader in is the spam forum. Which most things posted in the SF shouldn't be taken too seriously.

 

Yeah this isn't allowed out of the SF lol. No one ever called me a vader when I came into the SF... it wasn't until later someone was like "wow no one posted that he was a vader"

It's an initiation.

 

Yeah mostly anyone new to SF will be attacked,Espicially you because you're new to SF and sythe in general
Just dont worry about it
And if its outside SF,report it
