Is this REALLY considered Rape?

I wouldn't call it rape because they are the same age and probably consented to it but who knows it todays world..

 

i hate these shitty rape laws, this kinda crap happens all the time...which is why i hate the government

I would think that since she is underaged its not rape because she did not say no. But being that she is underage the 17 year old can be sent to jail for having sex with a minor. But he will not or should not get the rape charge. if she says yes it her problem and his.

 

If the guy, sexually assualted her, then I would consider it as a rape. If the girl was unwillingly to have sex with this man, then it would be a rape. If this girl wanted to engage in sex with this man, then it's okay.

Probably has something to do with the age.

if Im not mistaken, the age of conesnt is determined by the state, If Im thinking of the same story as you, that was tried in Atlanta, then it was rape, because the age of conesnt here is 17, Not 16.

They removed that law. The law use to say you cannot have sex with someone apart 3 months in age. I hope he wins in Supreme Curt.

I think that is unfair, but the law is the law....

I watched this show, where a man who was 18 had a 17 year old girl friend. The man has sex with her, and the mother later filed charges on him. And then ever since, he had to register as a sex offender.

 

Well after reading the article I also think that the charge is too heavy because the girl didn't even have problems with him. She even agreed to have oral sex...
