2001-2013 / dashcam question

Not even simple small accident until today




Turned out I'll have my first court case because bitch who caused this accident didnt agree with punishment -,- Police is on my side through


Any dash cams that you can recommend?

 

The dashcam phenomenon is so odd to me. Especially since they are mainly being used by Eastern Europeans(russians mostly). Sorry for the ramble lol, can't recommend a brand=/

 

well in situations like mine I was fully right she didnt know the rules, she ended up after 3 hours of quarreling with not accepting punishment and case went to court. If I had proof of that she broken rules it would be all easier, however she has no chances now because police made raport and assigned all fault to her so basicly she starts on lost position

 

I recommend a Drift HD HQ 1080p and small and compact

 

I think having a dashcam is an excellent idea, keeps you covered in cases like that OP has described. Also if you're mistreated by the police or something its all on video.

 

you thinking of keeping the car for a long time?

 

this car is 20% mine 80% parents, so yeah it'll stay with us for a while

 

I've been thinking of buying one of these, just the only disadvantage is I'll be filmed doing some stupid stuff when I'm fucking around in the fields etc, which is just more material to sieve through. If I was you I'd invest in a 1080p HD one though, as that could be the difference between getting accurate parts.

This is the best dash cam camera that you could find at an affordable price. HD video, motion detection, and a simple and durable suction cup mount. It records 720p but beware of imitations and fakes. First link, they stopped production of the DVR-027 in 720p but still have the 1080p on second link. They're in poland for like $50 however quality of it's recording is not really good.

Yeah but don't expect super HQ camera to be sold cheap. Quality of its recording shouldn't really matter if all you're going to do is show it to the police/judge as evidence.


I don't see any point of having a super high definition dash cam unless its specifically for reading license plates but as long its view able then that's what you need to worry about
