Runefest stream

Guess they've got to give some people who were dumb enough to pay them extra money a little prize or two for going to RF..

 

I wonder how much security they have at these events, and I wonder if any pissed off players have ever paid them a visit from bans/resets/etc.

 

Fucking Jagex, when will they stop being so obsessed with being unfair and giving asslickers every name they want?

Blizzard actually gives out inactive names to everyone, not their GM's only.
Blizz > Jagex. Blizz will always be fair. I know some of you probably hate Blizz but still, it's the truth, I got my dream names on WoW instantly. Jagex goes and deletes them to GIVE THEIR MOST LIKED Pmods which is just retarded. A friend of mine who is 30 and doesn't play RS even finds it weird.

 

Watched for like 3 min and turned it off

 

they gave away around 30 names, really super rare ones that i know people have tried to request before, rare names where even given to accounts with like 1k total, just because they went to runefest.
apparently there was a mod you could just ask and he'd give you almost any inactive/banned name..

then people get upset and email more, and are "assured theres no preferential treatment with names to those who attended runefest, and you'll have to wait for an automated released.."

 

So Jagex lies to us too? lol, wow... this is getting really really low of you J.

Thanks alex for this info, I knew I should have went but I couldn't afford it, that is why I am going next year, and I'll see with my own eyes how they give out names that even been permenatly deleted by themselves. :huh:

Jagex is actually a fucking horrible company, I asked blizzard for a extremely rare name, and got it and about names that weren't inactive they were so nice and told me why they couldn't release them for me. :3

 

What I think is annoying is that they're giving away inactive rare names, so you could go and request a expensive name then sell it on sythe. The reason why they do it is prolly b/c they can tell if it's on a dormant name seller account, and they think ohwell we're just contributing to the death of RWT, which they need to realise is a lot larger and smarter than their facts state, as the figures they threw out there were complete utter BS.
