    Support. And to the mods who are rustled, get over it if members want to or have time to catch ban evaders let them (and make it as easy as possible) with the HUGE amount of vaders on this site you need all the help you/we can get. Go get mod score elsewhere

    The registration IP could easily be mobile, public, proxy etc so I don't see this solving anything at all.

    You're right, which is sort of linked to what Corey said about the IP lookup not being intended as a tool to catch vaders, but in a lot of cases (probably the majority), it wouldn't be mobile/public/proxy. I think if it wasn't too difficult to implement it might be a nice addition, but obviously were it ever to be added it would still not be a perfect system for the reason you just pointed out.
