I don't personally play top lane very much heh. All the tryndameres try to go for the early kill with their e though.

I wouldn't say he has an "awesome" laning phase as if he gets zoned out from auto attacking then its a pretty sad day.

 

Yah, the only ones who can successfully zone him out like that unless they get an actual edge are like Teemo. I actually got fucked up as full tank malphite vs. a decent tryn today

 

Trynd will stop in top. Of course he can be countered, but mid/late game he will be farmed and split push like crazy. Even if people come up he can take one or two out and bought time for his team to push.

 

Some champs can stomp him in lane and split push just as well, though, and that's what I take issue with about Tryn. If he loses lane and can't outpush his opponent, he's completely useless.

 

Examples? Not many people can out-push a Trynd. If they can, they most likely won't win lane.

 

If you lose lane hard to a jax or nasus you'll be stopped in your tracks.

 

Namely Jax, Nasus, and Quinn. I've literally never lost a single lane against Tryndamere as Quinn, then I take his tower and roam while going back to defend mine every few minutes. I'll often take a Tryndamere's inner tower before he gets my outer.

Riven, Olaf, Renekton, Udyr, and Teemo also have the potential to both out-push and win lane against Tryn.

 

I have actually found that trundle is stupidly strong vs trynd.

 

I don't really see alot of people playing Trynd, usually when I do they're actually quite bad at using him and usually get stomped pretty quick. Personally, I've never played him but I'm kinda debating on giving him a try and see how I do.

That is after I do abit of research about him.

 

Trundle is stupidly strong against almost all melee-based bruisers. He's just stupidly worthless in most teamfight situations.

Finally got demonblade trynd yesterday after like 6+ months of wanting him, god this skin is awesome..

Anyways. I prefer 6% LS on trynd with some cdr blues depending on the top laner with AS marks armour yellows.

AS Glyphs (MR if against an AP champ)

Start dorans blade if you're not worried about being ganked, and start anything with wards if you are because that gank will fuck you up.

I actually have fwii added on skype and play with him from time to time.

Honestly though I think tryndamere is strong in solo queue but in a competitive team setting where coordination is 10x better i'm not terribly convinced of his potency.

 

He's still one of the most successful LCS picks... I'm not sure how badly his "nerf" hurts him, but from what I can see, he even works as AP Trynd in the LCS.

Also, let's not even begin to mention his level of OP in Treeline. >_<

 

The e nerf is annoying but nothing more than annoying.
