You should have it forever even if you don't renew it since you pay the initial cost, the all point is to renew it though, to get updates. The hosting is not included, so you will also have to pay monthly/yearly cost for hosting if you want to make a community.

How long have you had the account for? Also, is it your personal, and by that I mean.. did you pay for the license yourself?

 

It lasts forever, you just need to pay every 6 months $25 to get updates (new versions). But you can always use the versions you have, and this license is still entitled to free updates until the 6 months passes up.
