Halloween 2013?

Anybody has any idea on a Halloween event on RS this year?
Haven't heard a thing, and no clear indication on the rs forums as far as I can see.

From what I have seen, it is going to be the start to the Reconstruction of Lumbridge.

 

Its going to be some stupid world event like they've done for the last couple of events. I think they're planning on tying it in with the reconstruction of lumbridge or something :/

Jagex sucks. Some stupid Lumbridge Rebuildathon.

Yet another staple taken out of the main, core game. Even when the rewards or even the event itself was shitty, it was something I always enjoyed doing. A nice additional treat to whatever holiday was upon us. Not anymore. Thanks Jagex.

 

They have done item rewards for pretty much every previous holiday and they probably allocated the holiday team towards the 2007 version.

They've done stuff like this in the past and it sucked. Remember the easter event where all you did was run around and talk to random npcs?

Ehh, not really. Some of them have actually had some effort put into them. Even the one where you went through the haunted mansion and solved puzzles was something I liked, because it was festive and it was apparent that they put some actual effort into making the event fun.


Not this "lol find all 10 ghosts, one appears randomly every hour have fun" bullshit.

 

So true. That's when you knew they were dying...when they sent you on a goddamn scavenger hunt.

Also to the other poster, 07 clearly didn't get the holiday team..it was just a recycled event that they probably had the code for to re-implement quickly.
