Buying rares and other valuables

So I havent been playing runescape for about 3 years now and I realized a lot has changed. I was just curious, if I were to purchase large amounts of gold or a item of high value like the partyhat, would there be effective methods to do it without getting banned? I heard that Jagex can now reset your entire bank if they suspect you of rwt.

 

Yes but most ways are being kept secret. Ask the person you are buying the gold from. They should know.

That is definitely suspicious. I would wait before trading anything on that account. A more advanced account that was made a few years ago would be perfect.

 

It depends largely who you are buying from. Bulk or asian sellers put your account/purchase at higher risk

if you plan on buying said item from just a random seller you've got a significantly higher chance of them just passing it up as opposed to gold farming accounts that trade billions in gold every day.

yeah on a level 3 is would be suspicious. It just isn't worth the risk losing so much $$$ if you were to get banned.

 

If you have any older accounts and allow for an indent period, results may be better. I.E, play the account legitimately for a few weeks, then buy the gold. However, I'd still be weary of a transaction such as buying a phat...specifically in one transaction.
