Copying Music From One iPod onto Computer

I have my friends old iPod that he let me borrow for tonight (has about 100gb of music).

How do I copy all the music files onto my computer? When I go to iTunes, it wants me to delete all of his music and sync it to my library, not the other way around.

I know how to use google, thank you for the search... not.

Most of those "free" programs have like 50-1000 song limits and I have over 14,000 songs to copy. So I need a free one that can handle that many songs.

 

CopyTrans. Best freeware iPod transfer software. I think you can take the music off with that program.

This is why i dont use my ipod anymore. Transfering songs is a bitch. I just use my android as my music player. Then dl utorrent app.

 

Have you been successful before? I tried the "old school" copy of "ipod_control/music" and it didn't work

2nd gen classic.

right now using sharepod (pro version ($20)), but it keeps crashing my computer and I have to restart the transfer.

You basically can't it will try to sync it and delete them.

 

There are external programs that do it, but they all seem to be limited to like 5-10 songs before you have to buy their program.

 

most programs only do like 100 songs then it's done -.-
not looking to pay tbh, already got sharepod pro and it just keeps crashing my computer.

 

Anyone know a free one that will do all at once?
