Mind blown at how fun this game is

Tier 2 boots are good if you're more experienced, and if your aim is objective control. I still think rushing Botrk with tier 1 boots on vayne is better however.

 

learn cs'ing first, then mechanics, then proper execution

Laning against cait: start dorans shield, otherwise dorans sword

rush botrk, then just keep boots.
get pd after botrk, rush greaves after pd, go straight for LW, GA is a must, last item is optional

 

Getting a lot better with CS, Vaynes passive W is good when I'm low, and once my attack speed goes up after I buy items it's smooth sailing from there

Gonna probably keep trucking as ADC until I get enough IP for another champ, then try my hand at top lane/jungler since that's the weak points of my premade

 

Elise is fun and a strong jungler. Renekton is also a strong top lane

 

Which champions are usually autoban?

I wanted to try amumu for jungling but my friend said he's almost always banned. Fiddlesticks is another guy I've been looking at for jungling too

 

Amumu is banned on lower levels. On higher levels, Fizz, Kassadin, Zed and Ahri are the main bans.

 

What division are you in currently Snow? Typically at lower elo Malphite/Amumu will always be banned. People clump together in low elo so it makes AoE ultimates OP.

Typical bans: Thresh, Ahri, Kassadin, Fizz, Zed, Vayne.

 

In the event that you have spare time to watch streams, check out Doubelift or RobertxLee for adc mechanics. If you don't care for streams, focus on last hitting better, trading with your opponent often and not dying.

Oh, no, TheUnluckyKo was just a 'unofficial' clan I used on my low hp 99 range prod the name doesn't sound familiar though >.< I just knew we'd run into VH and HF all the time in BH.

Yeah, I'd try to go for the IE before the PDancer(s) though. The blade + Berserkers give you enough attack speed, and crit's are more effective when you have an IE. Just my opinion

 

people play vayne because her w passive is OP, thus attack speed would be better. Given her ult gives such a big ad buff, pd then ie would make better sense

 

I've been helping my friends learn how to play this game and here are 10 general tips that I used to help them.

1: You are basically new to the game, have fun while learning (aka don't rage)
2: Don't be super cocky, if your owning the game, it's probably because they are new players that doesn't have help like you. Also you'll be a rager when you start ranking. (Seen this a lot, don't be one of them)
3: RIGHT NOW (FOR ANY LANE), you don't need to worry about perfect CS. Just CS when you CAN and don't take harassment and DO NOT DIE. (Bot lane can easily comeback if they are behind in CS, focus on your mechanics).
4: REMEMBER TO USE ALL YOUR SKILLS CORRECTLY. If in doubt, use it.
5: ALWAYS TRY NOT TO DIE (Use your common sense, don't be greedy)
6: LISTEN to the better player (even if you don't like them)
7: YOU are the problem when you die, you can almost 80% prevent dying. 20% if is they are so fed/ahead and they can kill you all day no matter where you are.
8: MAKE MISTAKES AND LEARN FROM IT. Best way to learn is to do w/e and learn from it. You will not become the best by just reading guides or listening to better players.
9: Did I mention, try not to die? If you don't die, they don't get fed from you, maybe your friend feed them but you'll have to teach him that.
10: If a teammate is pissing you off, ignore and move on. Report after game. (DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRY TO TALK TO THEM. THEY WILL RAGE AND YOU WILL RAGE HARDER AND YOU GUYS WILL LOSE. DO NOT APOLOGY, THEY WILL THINK YOU ARE A NOOB AND WILL PROBABLY TAKE ADVANTAGE AND PISS YOU OFF EVEN MORE.)

11: Anyone that suck is a noob, anyone that doing well in game is a try hard.

GL ON YOUR GAMES. FOCUS ON THESE FIRST BEFORE YOU FOCUS ON BECOMING ADC MAIN.

 

Still, that gives you little to no AD, and by the time you get both BoTRK and PD, it'll be mid game. Her W Isn't that OP until later levels, which is why getting an IE before PD would be better, in my opinion at least.

 

Personally, I usually play Ruined King into Last Whisper on Vayne, then go straight into a defensive item (assuming my team's started to group, which they almost always have by the time I finish LW). Vayne has plenty of damage with those two items, and she needs something to keep her alive midgame, too.

 

a vayne with BoTRK and should be around at least 150~160 AD, the difference with the IE would be 220~230

without pd, her attack speed is .790, with pd her attack speed is 1.185

Now lets talk without the W passive at all

In 5 seconds, how much damage can she dish out

PD>IE 918.375 (avg ad at 155)
IE>PD 888.75 (avg ad at 225)

PD has a 30% crit chance
IE has a 25% crit chance

Now we add in the W

With PD, in 5 seconds, she would hit 5.925 times
Without PD, in 5 seconds, she would hit 3.95 times

Advantage with IE, is the additional 50% crit dmg
Advantage with PD, is the 5% movement speed for chasing

With Ult, vayne hits 467.25 movement speed, compared to a flat 445 movement speed, this extra 22.25 movement speed gives chasing or escaping a better chance.

 

This is based solely statistically speaking. No real player is going to get all 5.925 of those attacks in during a real situation. Teamfights and fights you're going to need to dodge abilities, break line of sight, and occasionally be CC'd. The 50% crit dmg is, especially in 1v1 / 2v2 fights could mean the fight.

Yes, statistically speaking, the PD might be better, but practically, I'd still prefer the IE.

Not to mention, with your average damage, if you hit 4 times with the IE, you have a 25% crit chance, which means at least 1 will be a critical. Add in that 50% damage, and it will out damage the PD.

 

Although I doubt you do, don't fall into the ASP fallacy. Generally speaking you should go damage > ASP > damage > survivability > ASP. Of course, that's very general, but ASP is only good if you can sustain many hits over the course of a few seconds. Increasing your AD scales really well with Vayne because she ends up being so mobile, and it works so nicely with her Q modifier as well.

 

Agreed ^^ Another major reason Vayne benefits more from earlier AD (as opposed to AS) is that she has an auto-attack reset (and damage boost) in her Q, Tumble. When you attack-Tumble, those two hits come in the same rapid succession no matter what your AS is, and the only possible modifier to them is how much damage they deal.
