Scared to bot!

title says it all. i have disposable accounts but no software. im paranoid i run virus scans on my computer all the time. i even check things i download from the internet for viruses. is there a safe way to download a bot without getting a virus? most all the bots now a days have viruses attached.

You are overly paranoid.
You can most often tell a bit is legitimate if they have a forum with many active users.
For EoC PowerBot is one of the most popular, for 07 OSBot and TriBot are the most popular. Google them and you can find them. Or read the stickies in this section or 07 cheating section to see other choices and links to their websites.

The van rate on EoC and 07 has been very high recently, so not smart!

 

Most of the risk nowadays over bots is about bans. Well known bots are secure, with enough common sense I wouldn't worry about the security of a disposable account.

I've been banned on one of my accounts, and i've stopped botting dont wanna be perm banned.

 

The thing you should be most worried about is being banned if you decide to bot again.

It was pretty obvious that epicbot was a virus.

nah I have never been banned and I have bot a few years! But mostly babysitting tho!

You really should be more scared of getting banned honestly. Lately, it seems botting = ban.

 

Epic bot didn't give you a keylogger the only "virus" you can\would get from epicbot is from their downloader and that only happens if you're not smart enough to decline all their spam offers.

again epic bot is not a virus you just seem to be ignorant of how installers work lol. epic bot is one of the longest lasting bot groups out and have yet to have any bad rep other than people who don't know how to read and uncheck\decline 3rd party programs. If you're going to run down a bot talk about powerbot they use to constantly steal from the people who used their bot about 2 years or so ago [maybe a lil longer]

Yeah honestly the virus on a bot is the least of your concerns at the moment. Stick only to bots that are popular -Which would only be the good ones anyway-

Bot bans should be your real worry, bot safely.
