Rust is an awesome game from the creators of Garry's Mod! It's like Minecraft mixed with DayZ, and it's a heck of a fun game if you're into that sort of thing

It's currently in a quite limited Alpha testing stage - keys can be bought in a Dutch auction here, and theoretically, buying an Alpha key at some point will get you a Beta key during that period and the game itself when it comes out on Steam in the future!

I got my key for $32.00 as the fourth of five total people who can get a key during my hour, for reference. Let me know if you end up getting the game, and we can play! Still working through the steep learning curve as I just got the game today myself.

If you like DayZ or Minecraft, and especially both, buy into this game! You'll get Alpha, Beta, and the game on Steam later- and zombies have been fixed (are now running correctly), and it's awesome

I don't think this will get too popular as the new dayz is coming out. I really like it though. Dropped to $25 a few moments ago.

 

Went down to $18 today with 2 keys available and then both got bought.

Art, as much as I hate "wasting" money, I can honestly say I don't mind having paid $32 for a key. I've had that much fun playing

Speaking of which, about to play some more.. Heh

 

Yeah I bet more people were rushing to buy at the time, so that was a good price. Maybe next week it will be like $10. =D

I've got a Rust account. I registered a one letter name but apparently they've changed the name system?

EDIT: I registered it when it was pre-alpha, when max people online was around 3-4 at a time.

N4N0, I'm pumped for ya.. It's a ton of fun! Let me know if you want to play, and I can hop over to your server or vice versa. The game's got just a bit of a learning curve, plus other players are probably going to be your biggest issue.

Personally, I find the game most fun when it's played with someone, although all of my Rust friends so far are just ingame friends.

 

Been playing this shit all fucking night..... Sigh.

 

I find this game interesting, but I'm from the UK can I still buy it online or something? Plus where do I run it on steam?

Also are these real people that I'm seeing on the video you've played like when he killed the person at the start was that a bot or a real person online also playing?
