How safe is GW2 Blackmarket?

Hi there. I've been playing Gw2 for quite some time now and have had really, really bad luck at making cash. I've been level 80 on 2 chars for over 5 months now and genuinely only had around 3-5 exotics as drops (excluding forge).

I finally came into a spot of luck when I spent 9g and received a 280g precursor from forge, but as it was my first time with a decent sum of cash I blew it in no time and now I'm back to square one.

Anyways, enough of the story and onto the point of the thread...

I'm wondering how safe it is to blackmarket (buying) gold? What are the odds of me getting a ban and how do these trades work? are they done simply by mailing the cash? ( I'd think that's very easy to spot by Anet )

ANet's detection system is high quality, any ridiculous gold mailing is flagged immediately and investigation occurs.
There are a few methods (via trading post and guild bank) which are available to use, but even those can be risky.

They crack down on it hard mainly to get you to buy the Gems and convert that way.

Thanks for the response. Could I ask your (and anyone elses?) opinion on what's the best method to use and what amount to trade? and at that, how likely is it i'll be banned for using those methods?
