How do you type?

I use all my fingers.

On fastfingers I got 148 wpm

 

I use the standard style with both hands. I can only go about 75 WPM though.

When younger, RS greatly helped improve my typing skill.

 

i do not type properly. i do what typing classes call pecking.

I use 8 fingers, I only use my thumbs to hit the "spacebar", rather than that I use the 8 other fingers to type the letters. I think I got 153 WPM Certified on Typeracer once but I average around 90-100 WPM regularly.

 

Like most of us, the continuous 'bank sale!', among other variations, GREATLY assisted my typing skills.

I only type with my index and middle finger, though typing classes seeps through and occasionally, I'll mix some in standard form. I can clear between 95-105 WPM at my best.

I have that same keyboard, picked it up a couple weekends ago after I broke my old one. I type the way you're supposed to and I normally average around 100-120WPM.

Is that the Asus G75? If it is, I have the same laptop.

 

Another really high score, do you touch type Nano? Also, did you take any typing classes be it online or not?

 

I can type very fast. This is probably because in public school computer class every day they would force us to play a game called "all the right type". That + constant runescape when I got home lol.

 

RS also pretty much tought me how to type. I use both hands but i don't utilize my finger as well as i would like=/

 

Yeah I also use ultimate 2013, I use two fingers when I type though, never learned the other way

I use both hands, but oddly enough I space with my index fingers and do the rest of my typing with my index, middle, and ring, leaving my pinky for backspace and thumbs free.

Used to space with my thumbs but broke them both and had to find a new way, now finding it hard to break the habit.
