    Bought an Account from Rs3pal/Gold4fun/Gold4rs

I bought a pretty bad ass account off this site, and I have before in the past and the person recovered the orginal account they supplied me with. Only reason I bought again this time was because It was seriously only $80 and has not been played since 2011 because I checked the adventures log, and to top that it has 180M+ total exp and has a 2120 total level. Almost maxed besides combat stats. You think I will get screwed again? This time they said they do this thing where they keep there email attached to it, and In 50 days from the purchase they will help me change it to mine. But In the mean time I have set the account to my facebook, and have also noticed that the last time the recoverys were set, they were set all the way back in 2007. So I did not change them, encase I may have sent a red flag to jagex and they locked the account. But so far it has been two weeks. Would just like to get some opinions.

There is always a risk when buying an account. What info did they provide you with?

I would recommend buying from trusted users here over websites. I think they're making you wait the time to ensure you can't chargeback on PayPal.

this part " This time they said they do this thing where they keep there email attached to it, and In 50 days"

makes it seem so fucking sketchy
basically meaning for the next 2 months they can simply recover when they want

They only provided me with login and password, No other info was obtained. They said they would change the email in 50 days to mine and provide me with details.

And thanks for the feedback, everyone-else.

no matter what the middleman does it'll always be recoverable by the original owner. so they'll likely never get it back. as for your payment, you'll need a huge amount of proof before you get somewhere like that to give you it back.

I bought from the chinese and it was recovered also. They basically told me to go fuck myself. You're out of luck. I recommend Playerauctions with an insurance plan.

i recommend paying someone to train your account rather than buying it. even if you have a plan and are gonna get refunded, you dont get the money and time invested back.

I'd like to make a few observations:

    - It's good that the account was inactive for such a long period of time
    - The email thing may sound sketchy to people here, but I doubt Gold4Fun cares about recovering the account themselves. If they tried to change the email quickly it could trigger a lock

As others have said you're in very high risk territory with basically no options if something goes wrong. You've found one of the safer accounts available, so all you can do now is hope for the best.
