OMM Thread icon

I think it would be fine if it stays within the middleman section. Smaller people don't stand a chance though it's already hard as it is. RSGP value is so low that it's extremely difficult to get those high valued mm trades (unless you have friends willing to help you out). That icon will make it extremely difficult but oh well. I don't really agree with the icon being available for a omm to use in any section. It seems as though people now want omm primarily to expand themselves in the market. They have a "how can I become bigger in the market" rather than a "how much can I contribute to the Sythe forum".

This isn't even an attack on anyone but I have the impression that if this suggestion was really made to make the site better place than it may have been suggested before OP got OMM.

I'd actually thought about it before and I just happened to think of it as I changed Zuzel's title and the icons were all there. It isn't him wanting personal gain.

 

I'd like to highlight that I had no friend who helped me with finishing any of my Applications and if you think otherwise you're wrong. Some were returning customers. You'll most likely get some repeating high value trades with time too. I havent noticed any friend activity in other recent applications too (Jack Goff and Nytrix) which I followed pretty often to be honest. We were all finishing our first applications at nearly same time.

I have only suggested ICON as graphic element. Roary is author of THREAD ICON. He just told me it would be worth to post it

I plan on pushing this through sythe and having it implemented. Going to go ahead and just close this thread now and consider it accepted.
