Difference between Moderate/Minor ban?

I was using a cannonball script I made myself for my goldfarming bots, they both were banned for one day this week but one of them got a moderate bot busting ban and the other got a minor. Obviously, I've stopped using the bot, but why were they awarded different offences and what is the difference?
