OMM Thread icon

Yup, shortly straigh to the point.
Here's my suggestion for Thread icon for OMMs

Take a close look, they all examples are abit different if it comes to size / colouring
OMMs would be more recognizable as their names are not underlined under thread titles and I think it would be too messy with additional underlines.

Also, it would nicely fill last free space

Sure, why not. Would be nice for OMM's to be able to have a more distinct way of showing they are OMM's rather than just a '[OMM]' tag on their thread titles.

That would require a whole new usergroup just for one extra forum icon. You're still in the same usergroup you were in before you got OMM, Zuzel. You just have the rank applied.

I'm not really going to veer either way, as OMM rank and stuff doesn't really matter to me.

Support. One caveat however: are you able to get a more cartoony looking dragon shield for the icon? The other icons look more "cartoony" so it doesn't quite match.

 

Think it would be a cool little feature.. for the image why not just shrink down the current OMM rank's D Sq?

Yeah I think that fits better and since it is just a straight copy from the omm rank there is little room for confusion.

I have tried regular D SQ that OMMs currently have but after some testing it looked so small with multiple examples, that was only my suggestion, if regular d sq is better in your opinion Im good with it I like it too, maybe I was too tired yesterday to resize perfectly d sq

I still prefer the actual Dragon Sq, that's more than enough to differentiate OMM topics from the rest, no need for a champagne gold finish on the square shield.
