Should I?

I haven't played Runescape in about 2 years, I am gonna sell my pk account and main to my brother and buy a maxed account besides 63 divin. Is it even worth it to pay 235 for the account and get back into runescape or should i pay the money to get back into the old runescape. OR should i just find a new game al together ? I have been off and on runescape since i was in 4th grade and i am now graduated so thats roughly around 9-10 years... so im one of the old school members that keep coming back to it because it was my first rpg seeing as i couldnt get 15 a month to pay for wow when i was 10

 

Not sure what you mean by paying the money to get back into the old Runescape. Really though, nobody can answer this question for you. It's all up to and what you want to do. I personally wouldn't spend $235 on an account unless you know you're actually going to stick with it for a little while. At least play some on the account you have now and see if you still even like playing. It has been 2 years since you've last played, so you might not have as much of an interest as you did before. I know I don't. I can't log into Runescape without getting bored out of my mind within 5 minutes. Most people on there are lame as hell and I've always found skilling unbearably boring. I could handle it some when I was younger, but I would have never played as long as I had if I didn't start botting. The best thing about Runescape for me was merching and that pretty much got ruined when the Grand Exchange came out.

In my opinion however, since the only way for you to get back into Runescape is another account then I wouldn't recommend coming back. I have seen too many accounts be recovered it just isn't worth it. I'd say just move on.

 

so the updates are pretty un bearable then? also if the updates ruined the game is there any other decent.games out.there other than wow ? I have played lol, d&d, runescape?

 

I think if u choose to come back start a new account and 07 isn't too bad with the updates that are coming along if it was your childhood game I say go for it!

 

Check out Vindictus. It's completely free and has one of the best combat systems of any online RPG I've played. I also recommend Path of Exile, Silkroad, and Ragnarok. All great games.

 

yea i loved vindictus but it just got boring as everyone had exactly the same stuff because you cant branch out very much, as to PoE id love to play but games like that i need to play with someone to get the hang of it i cant play rpgs without a clan or friends i talk to over skype while playing

I am a fan of OSRS; I'd recommend just coming back to OSRS and starting a new account. If you can't do that, then buy from a trusted member and come enjoy the game!
If you enjoy EOC, then good; same advice. Buy from trusted only.

I wouldn't, Maxed out accounts are almost always recovered, and if you play off and on, you should just stick with one of the accounts you have now.

 

If you do decide to get back in, watch for the scammers. Too many of them lately.

 

I think your coming in for a major disappointment, runescape is at its worst at the moment and i don't think it will ever get better.
