    Regarding forum links & cleanup

It's not a very web 2.0 thing to do and seeing as we're moving on to improve the website's aesthetics, I think the following should be taken into account.

    Sythe User Center
Useful, but there should be no rules & donations section, especially when there's no more rules there. Just move it to community, or put a link for it that's more accessible than Quick Links. I think people expect it under User CP anyway. I would assume the most popular place would be right next to "Private Messages" on the right side, as people are very used to clicking that.

Good idea, but it doesn't always work. You press it, it hides community. But if community is already minimized, it just makes community sections go into rules and donations. Just make it minimize community, and that will teach the user they can maximize it in the future.

    Important Member Rules
Just put this link at the top, next to Quick Links, or somewhere else. It doesn't need to be accessed that often to where it needs its own section.

Report a Scammer link in Market Tools
Useful, but the Market tools are already too far down for it to be convenient. In fact it's easier to just scroll all the way down than try to locate it in the center. Either move Market tools up, or get rid of it. Actually, if the admins can check how many people actually click this link vs. viewed report a scammer it would be a good way to tell if it's useless.

    Stickies
People are getting so used to these, especially with the different design, that they are easily ignored, while it still clutters the forums like advertisements in between the content. This will probably be a future project if enough people are interested, but make stickies un-stickied once it is read. There could be a button for it as well. Or at least permit people to hide the sticky section all-together, at their own risk. If the goal of stickies is unless to give much more attention to those threads, they should not be colored differently to where people can ignore them, but the number of stickies per forum should be cut down to one.

    Thanks for the suggestions. :)

My suggestion is to keep the category, refer to my comment about Sythe Member Rules below. How about a link under Private Messages in the User Control Panel here: http://puu.sh/4KlzB/ebd35fd9c3.png?

As far as I know, that is not intentional. Probably a bug or something that Richard has to look at. Maybe it could be changed to a redirect that simply links to http://www.sythe.org/#runescape-markets - this would eliminate the issue we are having & serve the same purpose (let people skip straight to the market sections).

Personally I'd rather the Sythe.org Member Rules redirect be moved into the Rules & Donations category. It is my opinion that having the rules clearly outlined and available is better than having a link to them hidden away in the quick links tab. I don't think Richard saw my request for that, so I'll push this to Rye or another admin when I get a chance.

I have been having this same issue. I think that the just simply minimizing it is a great idea. Support.

I've had the same thoughts. Get rid of the first category and make them links in the top bar. Put the rules there too. Move the dispute forum to the bottom.

Doing that would get all of the RuneScape Market into the first screen you see (on my 1080p monitor at least). If you wanted to go further, you could MERGE (please understand the word merge) suggestions and feedback (NOT like Town Hall was, literally MERGE the sections into one) and you would get a little bit more.

I don't really care about Report a Scammer. I thought it was a nice idea back in the day. It most certainly makes it more visible.

I'm interested in your suggestion regarding Stickies. You're right, they're easily ignored. However I don't think your solution is the way to go, considering sometimes people need to find them again. Limiting stickies to one or two per section is a good idea though.
