Need some champ idea's.

My fav so far is Yi, however i cant get past using him every game i can. Im still kinda new only lvl 12. I have 7k coins saved up and would really like to purchase a bad ass character. However i cant seem to find some1 like yi. I enjoy how simple it is to use him... Any ideas who might be as easy to use.

Since this is your first time levelling to 30, don't worry about specific champs, what they do, and how they impact the game.

Honestly, just buy whatever champ you think you may like. Also, some champs may appear to be extremely confusing that require a rigorous approach to, however this is not always the case.

If I were you, I'd just play every single champ you can as you level up. The more you play, and the more you accustom to certain champs, the more you'll enjoy the game, aswell as improving your game play significantly.

In regards to your actual question...champs that I find enjoyable are:

• Teemo
• Ezreal
• Katarina
• Vlad
• Rumble
• Lee Sin
• Nidalee
• Karthus
• Gragas
• Thresh
• Zyra

 

If you're looking for somebody "as easy to use", I'd advise you to avoid Zed. Whilst he isn't difficult to use, to use him to his full potential requires a bit more mechanical knowledge.

Blitz and Thresh basically depend on how well your skill shots are for their grabs. This is something that you won't have experienced with Yi so again, it might take some getting used to.

Miss Fortune and Lucian are both similar, although I believe Miss Fortune is easier to use.

You might want to have a look at somebody like Tryndamere. He's a strong champion, and very easy to use.

 

Whilst Zed is really fun, he requires quite a lot of skill as stated above, I would recommend Miss Fortune, as she does a fair amount of damage and is quite fun.

 

If you're looking for someone who is simple to play like Yi, Tryndamere's your man.

 

I do agree with Tryndamere. I thoroughly enjoyed playing him whilst levelling and even bought his legendary skin.

Teemo is also someone I thoroughly enjoyed and will teach you the basics about kiting an opponent whilst keeping constant damage on them (Attacking whilst moving. Shoot them once, click to run away, shoot again, run away) Eventually you will be kiting them so much they will be forced to run due to low HP, at which point you can pop your W for Run Speed, catch them out, Tadaa! Easy kills.

One other champ I feel is incredibly broken at the moment is Jax. His late game potential is incredible and he can literally 2v1 people if he gets a nice amount of Minion farm and a kill or 2 under his belt. Even a 2/6/0 Jax can be scary late game if he is played well and just concentrates on his minion farm to get himself back into the game.

TL;DR - Tryndamere, Teemo + Jax. Jax is a definite one you should try out, Incredibly strong in 1v1's for top lane.

 

Being familiar with a caster champion is also pretty important. Lux is nice because her utility can be used as a support (especially in low-level games), but she makes a devastating mid as well.

 

Try Teemo or nasus. Two really easy to use and fun champs. Nasus is amazing late game if you use his siphoning strike correctly.

I don't think either is that easy to use if you're not quite yet skilled at the game.

Positioning with Teemo is pretty important or else you'll die almost instantaneously, you can't just "yolo" in like you do with Yi. You need to know all blind spots of the map too for the best shroom placements.

If you suck at last-hitting, Nasus is not for you. Even if you're a tanky monster, you'll do like no damage if you only have like 200 stacks in 30mins.

 

I guess you're right on nasus. But I find teemo so easy to use because his poke with q is so effective. He is pretty squishy so he's a bit iffy, but once you get used to him he's really good.

 

Zed and Thresh both require some mechanical skill to play efficiently.

Try some of these:

• Fizz
• Garen
• Renekton

Udyr is a fun champion to play. You can play him in the jungle or top lane. Read up on his stances prior to playing him. Tiger stance top lane does A LOT of damage early, most people don't expect it and can easily award you first blood.

Jax is a really solid top lane. One of the best duelists in the game. With the new Trinity Force, he is pretty strong right now and can be a monster late game. Very easy to lane with.

Fizz commonly played in mid lane is an assassin. A very "snowbally" champion. If you get ahead, you will do A LOT of damage and easily 100-0 the enemy mid laner or ADC. If you learn how to harass in lane using your E, you can win your lane almost every game if you practice him enough. Even with your enemy under the turret you can W-Q under the turret and then land an extra auto-attack and E away and it will instantly de-aggro the turret even if the turret shot is about to hit you.

Garen is incredibly simple to play. No skill shots and pretty straight forward. If you want to run around in everyone with 3k+ health and do good damage, play Garen.

Renekton is a very solid top lane choice. Good sustain and damage. Easy to dive at level 6. If you get ahead, you will be a huge asset to your team late game. Incredibly tanky and easy to get to the enemy back line.


Since you are still a low level, some key things to practice is your last hitting. Kills are not everything. "Perfect CS" is considered 100 at 10 minutes. Pro's typically don't even achieve this very often, but practice it. Even if you do a custom game, keep the bot at below half health and try to achieve at least 80 farm at 10 minutes. It sounds stupid to play a bot, but it really helps your last hitting.

Practice "orb walking." This is where you attack the player, move, attack, move, attack, etc. For example, if you are in lane and wanting to fight, attack the enemy and move towards their turret and then attack again, move towards their turret and attack again. Using this helps you stay in range and effectively deal more damage.

Avoid fighting in the enemy creep wave. If the enemy wave has more minions and you decide to fight, unless you have a decent item advantage you will most likely lose the harass battle or possibly die. Minions do A LOT more damage than you think, especially at low levels.

Lastly, though you may love one champion, it's always better to expand your champion pool and practice every role. At level 30 if you wish to play ranked it's definitely advised to have an understanding of every role and a decent amount of champions. I definitely prefer to play ranked over normals, you might too

When you hit ranked people will know how to shut a yi down. Ignite/Thornmail etc. Level 12's will never know how to counter him.

 

Yeah, no one plays Yi in ranked nowadays. Are you playing on NA?

 

Play bot games with the charator, I love using Jayce, catiyln, Blitz, Jarvan(which is fun both top lane and jungle) Ziggs and many more AU SERVERS

 

You could try someone like LeBlanc who has high damage and is not hard to use. She was my main when I first started and I did pretty good with her.

 

Fighting a Yi who is out of control? Tank gets Randuins or Frozen Heart, the bruiser gets Thornmail. Yi is now pointless. Also, just CC him and he drops in a matter of seconds.

Yi is absurdly strong against low-levels, but he is absurdly pathetic against people who know how to handle him. Since he has no CC and his only gap closer can only be used to initiate, he's vulnerable to people who can focus him the right way.

 

If you like yi try tryndamere. He is like yi only 100x better and the most legitimately OP champ in solo q.

 

I favorite champions to play are Ryze, Nasus, Kennen, Amumu, Pantheon, and oddly enough Sivir.
