That is not the terms of the contract if you read to what they both agreed on. They agreed that R2P was going to give the kid x amount for the phat and 180m. Then instead of going through the risk of xferring such a large amount of gold I am presuming R2P says, "Well, just let me use your account to give it to my buyers." (which is admitted in R2P's post) Therefore the kid's end of the deal was completed when he allowed R2P on his account and the items were there. It didn't get banned until R2P took control of the account, and that can't be a coincidence.

 

I am unable to find myself to care about either side of this. I don't know what was going on but why didn't the dude sell the junk himself? It doesn't take much to sell the shards and to check Rare Quark for the price of a blue and then sell that gold + account as a separate trade.

I wouldn't ever accept a trade for items and the account lol I'd make it into two trades with different values.

 

Can we just end this thread and agree that r2's a faggot for doing whatever he did and that bulk gold sellers sell their gold for way to high of a markup? Jesus christ this isn't Rocket Sciene.

I don't see how it was a setup. Not like he knew he was going to get banned if someone else logged on his account. He was going to sell the gold anyways.

 

If he's smart enough to make a verified paypal account, he should be smart enough to sell his own shit. The idea of getting someone to log onto your account to sell a phat (that you can easily find a buyer on the forums) seems sketchy as fuck to me.

 

"not like he knew he was going to get banned", this is what they mean by setup, how is it that the account got banned under 10 minutes when r2 uses multiple accounts with the same vpn and yet non of them are banned (even now still fine).... The coincidence is just a little too fishy....

 

we all have no doubt in that R2P is legit guy. Anyways, my opinion to this case is following:
R2P could transfer goods to his own account, he could pay Trax straight after he traded GPs to his account. Anyways somehow he has received the goods and he should be held responsible for them. It's nature of business if you get banned or not. For example. Someone sells to gp buyer 100M
Week later gp buyer still has 100M but he hasnt sold it yet and he got banned.
Buyer cannot hold gp seller responsible for this and should pay him. (if he havent done it yet)
and in this case it looks like he's trying to put all responsibility on seller of phat

Clearly you haven't been around long... R2 is notorious for being the sketchiest 'trusted' user on Sythe. He has been involved with countless things that he should have been banned for, but wasn't because of his status (e.g. knowingly accepting stolen gold from various members after they have been hacked). R2 TOLD THIS KID TO LET HIM ON HIS ACCOUNT and now is refusing to pay this kid after the other trader held up his end of the deal.

Adding random IP that Isn't flagged isn't fishy? Why is r2s other accounts not banned? You can't prove that the Ip match was the reason for the account being banned? What are jagex afraid of him? They would put RWT ban and banned all associated Accounts with the IP? R2 uses the Vpns for mules not botting... The fishy thing here is telling you that you can buy my items by logging into the account and exchanging them first?
