What exactly is that in the BG? Sorry can't recognize it :S Don't bevel it whatever it is, it makes it look odd and stands out in a bad way.

 

Agreed. Also I think having the letters sideways like that would get old pretty quick. More or different textures would look better imo. Also if you add a few more layers to the back it gives it better depth than just 2.

The shield should look like it has more depth than it does. I actually like the letters how they are, it looks, different.

Just the shield stands out a bit like a sore thumb to me (an amateur viewer).

edit: at a second glace, the texture on M could be brought out more.
