yea will be playing it friday, i wasn't a sucker enough to buy prem/pre order it.

 

Similar to BF3 in my opinion. Just its a bigger scale in Conquest Large.
Can't wait for Official Launch to be honest, with the 5v5 competitive mode.

 

lil disapointed tbh nothing new really just new maps.

I'm severely disappointed with BF4 as of right now.

Game's currently laggy as all fuck, even with dual 4GB GTX 670 superclocked cards.
Almost identical to BF3 in terms of gameplay.
Minor changes here and there but nothing all that spectacular.


I give it like a 4/10 personally.

 

I agree. Laggy AF. I'll stick with 50 FPS BF3. I'm glad there was a trial or I would have ordered (pre ordered) BF4.

 

I haven't played it yet, but if it's just new maps and nothin really new, I will be severely disappointed.

 

Just wait for Official Launch though. It has several new modes. The game hasn't really been optimized yet.

 

after optimization will it be less laggy do you think?

 

1/10 i have an fx 6100, 7950 vapor x, 8gb ram... it runs on medium at 10-20 fps, and runs on ultra on 10-20fps... this game is really not optimised... if they don't fix this then this game will be shit

I've got 2 7950's but I've heard the nvidia folks are doing just fine too.

 

So those of you that have played, what exactly is it that's new on BF4?
I couldn't see what they could improve on (gameplay wise) from BF3..

 

nothing really as i heard... i downloaded it, but since it laggs a lot for me and low fps i stopped playing it... its pretty strange cus bf 3 was running on ultra with 100fps, and bf4 runs on medium/ultar on 10-20 fps...

 

Last night I pulled one of my 7950s so my brother could use it. Even on a single 7950 I'm getting 50+fps on ultra @1080p. Try updating to the 7950 beta driver on amd's site.

 

its the drivers, i cant even run it cus the new drivers i dl that are MEANT for bf4 beta dont even work on the beta rofl

There is new maps, same old combat. I am not really familiar with BF3 guns so I am not sure on those, but it really seems like the same exact combat system. Nothing was really majorly overhauled from what I can tell.

 

Yeah, it will be less definitely once they start optimizing the game.

New maps to be honest. Currently, you are only allowed to play 1 map which is the, Siege of Shanghai.
Some new weapons, probably remake though.

I'm on GTX 580, running on LOW though, 1680x1050, I get 50~70fps, which is totally playable for me. I'm using the Beta Drivers.

 

Its okay, kinda expected more, kinda expected a better map.

Im running a GTX 670 and I stutter like crazy :S So, I'm quite annoyed there, even though I have beta drivers. Bf3 ran fine on ultra w/ 60+ fps.

I'm still keen to see what the jets are like, flying helicopters feels really weird compared to bf3. Was a good pilot in Bf3, can barely navigate with the new ones though.

Hopefully it gets better, still havent preordered, probably wont, but hey, I'll see what its like on release, then buy premium.
