Is It Worth Coming Back?

Hey there! I quit 07 Scape shortly after its release. At the time there were no bots and I was getting tired of doing things by hand (the nostalgia quickly died off).

Now with a number of bots out there such as OSRS bot and TriBot out, I was considering making a purely botted account for strictly PKing and Staking when I actually did take the time to play the game.

I was wondering what you all thought of the current status of the game. I noticed GP is really high up there at the moment (over $2/m) and it seems like the game is still fairly active (10-15k) usually.

So basically, is it worth coming back and starting a new account as a "project"? If I got good at staking I'm sure I could make some nice bank selling the GP I do make. I figured I'll play League of Legends or something as I bot my account. What do y'all think?

 

No it's not.

There are thousands of better things to do with your time: read a book, exercise, take an online course, etc.

 

From what you said it seems like youre just wanting to bot an account to have an account you can pittle with whenever you feel like actually playing. Obviously you wont be wasting much time botting and then youll be able toplay whenever you want. Truly the "should i come back" questions can only be answered by yourself. Id suggest giving it a try and seeing if you like it.

 

Unless you're using premium scripts (i.e. paid/private scripts) you'd most likely get banned before reaching your ideal stats

Tbh it's not really worth it unless you're strictly botting for cash

 

Unless you are very good, lucky, and put in a lot of effort, you won't make any money that's worthwhile at this point (in terms of effort/$).

 

If you have a lot of spare time and you're willing to waste a few hours, it's still fun. But if you have a busy life I'd recommend not, it's not worth it.

 

Runescape has it's way of sucking your hours away.
I suppose it depends on who you are and if you actually enjoy the game. I know I came back and I am enjoying it.
