Saying nigger isn't a hate crime, trust me. I can find the statutes constituting hate crimes and case law concerning free speech and hate crimes. The facts are that you're trying to censor a group of anonymous people. I am against censorship of any form.

 

I don't give two shits about the spam forum because everyone in there is trolling. I understand that, but using racial slurs to intentionally try and hurt people is a crime.

 

I'm a criminal justice major and a traffic cop for my cities police department. Don't try to tell me what the law is.

 

You can't get arrested for that. That isn't a death threat. You can't get arrested for discrimination either.

Respect goes a long way. I understand how terms such as the n-word and anything relating back to discrimination is offensive, but you need to realize that we are on the internet. An infraction is a very fair punishment for this outside of the Spam Forum, because you don't know peoples' attitudes or personalities. If you're so worried about this, then I'm afraid to tell you that you shouldn't be on the internet as it may make your sensitive heart stop.
