Change vouch threads to "feedback" threads

That way, people can keep their vouches there, but if you had a problem with the person you were trading with, you can leave them negative feedback as well. I don't think it's fair that someone can show off that they have 10 vouches, but nobody can see if 100 people have had trouble with the user even though he has 10 vouches.

Of course, with every negative feedback, you would need to leave picture proof of skype conversations, PM's, or anything regarding why you found the person you were trading with to be unpleasant, and if the feedback owner doesn't agree with your feedback, he can report the post and a moderator would be the judge of whether or not the feedback given was warranted and sufficient to keep it there.

 

I don't like this idea because you could always lie and give negative feedback because the trade or procedure didn't go your way.

Bad feedback only really would arise from being scammed or something other fishy occurring which would need a scam report anyways. If this happens, you could also just post this with the proof on their sale thread to warn other users.

You don't have to have been scammed to have a deal go sour. Some kid earlier kept harassing me calling me a "crybaby", "whiny bitch", and "newfag" because I wouldn't sell him an upgrade. I should be allowed to let people know how much of an arrogant child the kid was and tell people not to deal with him.

From your tone it sounds like you were both at fault in that trade. Insulting those who give an opinion is not going to get you anywhere.

Asides from that I'm on the fence about this now. While someone may be unpleasant to deal with it doesn't necessarily make them untrustworthy. Sometimes however, the ones that get really bent out of shape that a deal is not going through are the ones that will scam in the future. This also sounds a lot like a text version of iTrader, etc which has always been denied in the past due to how much work it would take to convert the existing vouch system to the iTrader system.

A possible problem with it is in the way that the OP usually contains quotes of all of the vouches, it wouldn't contain the negative feedback. As a result, after it gets buried in a page of vouches it will be forever lost and become redundant since no one ever inspects all of someones vouches if they have a large amount, at most there will be a cursory check.

 

Doesn't matter if it becomes lost in the thread. What matters is that it is still there for those who want to be extra cautious and check. As of right now, If I leave a guy negative feedback on his thread, it will be removed and claimed as spam which is complete bullshit.
