Ban reason check

I've got another idea
Maybe would it be possible to add to user's profile 'Ban reason' and 'TwC reason' button to view reason of someone's ban/TwC and preferably link to scam report too?
It would help incase of banned users claiming they'll come back, they've been banned wrongfully etc, basicly lying to scam. Good example is cubeish, who tricked divica, today Betazone for $300 scam on it's way on PayPal and probably many others. He tried his luck with myself but failed.
Consider this, it would help alot. I'm not sure if would it be easy to implement to site, but it would require some hard work :/
I know there's 'Where did [NAME HERE] go?' but it's not that often visited until someone's really interested in certain cases. For example, newcomers/not experienced members arent.
I dont know for obvious reasons how does it look in ModCP / AdminCP / Staff lounge / Upper Staff lounge. But somehow Mods/Admins can find ban reason for certain users. Maybe it would be possible to make script to link banned users with scam reports

Support this, would like to see a users background BEFORE trading them, sometimes I can't be bothered to search it up myself :/

 

If it's on the DNS list, there is a good reason for it.

It's a nice idea, but I don't think it's necessary.

 

I'd love to see it implemented, a little note by the contact info or About me on the users profile, all though it may take staff a little extra time, it'd do no harm linking an RaS report, or brief reason of the ban, would eradicate need for where did user xxxxx go posts

But I think it would be a nice addition, but really if a user is banned they have nothing to lose. So they could be banned for one thing and then scam someone else for a completely different reason.

Just don't trade with users who're banned is pretty simple.

 

No support. Some ban reasons are kept private in the interests of the user or for other reasons. Linking a scam report and such over a rank and such is extra work for the staff. Not to mention there isn't always a scam report or thread that shows why a user was banned.

Just stick to the 'where did [name here] go' thread, if anyone knows, it will be posted there.

Just don't trade with banned users, its not hard.

Somehow he tricked you, if you knew he scams you wouldn't trade him. I can bet

 

This isn't going to happen. There is a certain level of privacy given in certain cases, and simply releasing ban reasons on the click of a button will violate that.

The best piece of advice I can give you guys is to simply not trade with people who are banned!

With regards to TwC reasons, it's been suggested and its possible this might be released in the future.

I just want to stress this because there have been so many instances of people PMing about it/getting scammed.

Consider this: if they are banned, they are not credible, and if they scam you, they've got nothing to lose (because they're already banned!). The same goes for temporarily banned, and the same goes for self-requested banned. If they are any form of banned, do not trade with them.
